Book Trailer
Dear Cathy,
ReplyDeleteI love seeing that your students are reading these extraordinary books for your Mock Newbery Club.
It was especially fun to see the book trailer I made for Diamond in the Desert as part of your post.
I have read all of these except False Prince. It's in my "to-read" pile for the summer.
I adore Wonder and The One and Only Ivan. I made trailers for them too because they touched me so deeply.
Here is the link to the Wonder trailer: http://bit.ly/ImOiV5
If you are interested, I wrote a post about our trailer and visit from Katherine Applegate here:http://bit.ly/HNI5kB
I hope everyone enjoys their reading summer at your school! If your school is the Falmouth in Maine, I am an USM grad and used to live near Higgins Beach.
Happy Reading,
Julie Hembree

Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your amazing book trailers! I've embedded them on the blog. My students are going to love viewing them as they try to decide which Mock Newbery books to read next.
We are located in Falmouth, Maine, and I'm also a USM grade. What a small world. I enjoyed reading your blog post about Katherine Applegate's author visit. You have a great blog!
Maybe we could connect via Skype during the school year. My school has participated in World Read Aloud Day the past couple of years. Here's the link to my library blog: http://mrspotter.edublogs.org/
Take care,
Cathy Potter
